Hunter Qualifies for DIII New Englands at Triangle Classic

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. - Men's Indoor Track and Field competed at the Triangle Classic Saturday where the team posted six top-10 finishes, including Khamani Hunter qualifying for the New England Division III Championship with his performance in two events.

Within the track lanes the Bantams recorded three eighth place finishes from Will Addison (200M), Jack darling (400M) and Luke Weiler (600M), falling just two tenths of a second short of the New England Qualification.

In the 60M dash Terrence Bogan finished 7th overall. Sam Benham took 6th place in the mile for an indoor personal record, he was followed by finishes from Thomas Sparno (8th) and first year Dolan Pols (9th). On the day Khamani Hunter set indoor personal records for his performance in the 60M and the Flat-track indoor 200M, the first year placed fourth in both events while also qualifying for the DIII New England Championship next weekend.

In the field Bantams' Donovan Koukal-Kollie set a indoor personal record with his distance of 13.01m in the triple jump, Koukal-Kollie finished 3rd overall. Ethan Wilkie recorded another first place finish in both the shot put and weight throw. Teammate Noah Falvey followed the seniors lead and set a new indoor personal record with his tosses in shot put and weight throw, where he made finals and placed 7th in shot put.

The Bantams wrapped up their regular season this weekend and will be competing in the DIII New England Championship next weekend, more information to come on the Bantams website.
