Women's Tennis Down Ithaca, 6-3

ORLANDO, FLA. — The Trinity College Women's Tennis team opened up their spring break matches with a 6-3 victory over Ithaca College. Bantams fell short 2-1 in doubles, but went on a four match win streak to solidify the non-conference win over Ithaca Tuesday morning. 

In doubles Ella Baker and Allie Francis defeated Ithaca's Curley and Cheung 8-3, collecting the Bantams only pair win of the day.

Senior Josephine Kimball, sophomore Allie Francis, and first year Naisha Rathi dominated on the court, collecting match wins in just two sets of play. Junior Ella Baker and sophomore Elise Brennan, both took victories after 2-1 matches.

The Bantams are back in action on Wednesday, March 13, continuing their play in Orlando, Fla. with a match against North Central College at 10AM.
