ORLANDO, FLA. — The Bantams were bested to begin their day on Wednesday by North Central College 5-4 for the final score, but were lifted with an afternoon victory over Springfield College 6-1 for the final.

NCC def. TRINITY 

The duo of junior Ella Baker and sophomore Allie Francis collected the first win of the day with a doubles final of 8(1)-6(0). The Cardinals led 2-1 as the match entered singles, Bantams didn't notch a match point till Francis held her North Central opponent to only three points in each set, score 4-2 Trinity trailed with three single matches remaining.  

Cardinals Abigail Penados solidified NCC victory after downing Bantams Josephine Kimball. Trinity closed out the match collecting the final two wins from Angelina Shyltsyna and Ella Baker, final score 5-4.

Bantams went 2-1 in doubles with victories recorded from the pair of Elise Brennan and Rathi Naisha along with Allie Francis and Ella Baker. 

The match went into singles with the courts favoring Trinity. Ella Baker, Elise Brennan, Rathi Naisha and Madison Bolig swept in four straight matches, each Bantams denying their Pride opponent any chance to see a point higher than three. 

Trinity Women's Tennis closed out their non-conference match against Springfield 6-1.
