HARTFORD, Conn. - The College Squash Association announced the 2023-24 First and Second All-American Men's Teams where it had named four members from the Trinity College Men's Squash team. Bantams' senior Mohamed Sharaf (Shiekh Zayed City, Egypt) earned a spot on the First Team All-American for the second year in a row and teammates Ali El Toukhy (Cairo, Egypt), Joachim Chuah Han Wen (Shah Alam, Malaysia) and Abdelrahman Nassar (New Cairo, Egypt) were named to the Second Team All-American.
Sharaf finished his reign at Trinity College with a 55-9 career record, closing his senior year 18-2, going undefeated in the New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC), 6-0. 14-3 season record (including 3-1 record in the Pool Trophy Individual Championship), 8-0 in the New England Small College Sharaf helped guide his team to their 17th consecutive NESCAC Championship title and finished as CSA Championship Runners-up. Along with these amazing accomplishments Sharaf finished the 2023-24 season named NESCAC Player of the Year (2x recipient) and earned a spot on the NESCAC All-Conference First Team, for his third consecutive year.
Nassar, who repeated for a third year on the All-NESCAC First Team, had a 19-1 record, with a 49-11 career record playing in the top third of the Trinity lineup in 2023-24. He represented Trinity Men's in the CSA Individual Championship where he climbed his way to the Molloy South Division Championship title. Nassar finished his senior season being named to the NESCAC All-Sportsmanship team. Chuah posted a 10-3 record (fourth on team in wins) playing in the top third of the Trinity lineup in his sophomore season, and registered a 2-1 record in the CSA National Championship (Potter Trophy) Tournament. Chuah earned a spot on the NESCAC All- Conference second team. Both crucial members of the Trinity College Men's Squash Program were tabbed to the CSA All-American Second Team for a consecutive year.
Senior Ali El Toukhy finished the season 9-4, (2-0 NESCAC) with a career record of 32-11. El Toukhy made his first appearance on the NESCAC All-Conference First Team, in his sophomore season he had been tabbed to the NESCAC All-Conference Second Team. In the CSA Championship bracket of the Potter Trophy, Eltouhky went 1-3, finishing his season in the first round of the CSA Pool Trophy Individual Championship.
