HARTFORD, Conn. - The Trinity College Women's and Men's Track and Field Team hosted several neighboring schools for their Trinity Invitational on Saturday, April 20th. Overall, the Bantams performed admirably on their home track and in the field, with the women finishing 3rd and the men placing 7th.
In addition to the excitement of hosting, the Bantams honored seniors Dahlia Galante, Libby Geisler, Cate Kneebone, Sophia Jones, Gabby Grattan, Kennedy Mullan, Ethan Wilkie, Terrance Bogan, Enzi Teacher-Dabrer, and Sam Strymish. The Trinity Invitational also served as the Bantams' Inclusion meet, celebrating diversity, embracing differences, and fostering unity within the community to support all backgrounds and identities.
"We take a lot of pride in hosting a great invitational at Trinity College," said head coach John Michael Mason. "I was happy to see such great performances across the board from teams at our meet, and especially from our Bantams. We've received tons of great feedback from visiting teams, officials, parents, and fans about our invitational, and we couldn't be prouder of our seniors with the energy they brought to their last regular season meet."
