BRUNSWICK, ME - The Trinity College Men's Golf team showcased their talent at the New England College Athletic Conference Championship hosted by Bowdoin College at Brunswick Country Club. Finishing T3rd overall, the team delivered a commendable performance, tallying a team score of 596 over 36 holes of play.
Leading the charge was Jack Godin, who secured an impressive 5th place overall finish, shooting two over par with scores of 76 and 70 in rounds 1 and 2, respectively, for a total of 146. Junior Benjamin Boyd also excelled, joining Godin in a tie for 5th place after carding a 75 followed by a 72.
Sophomore Henry Reilly contributed to the team's success with consistent play, finishing just four shots back at 151, shooting 77 in round 1 and 74 in round 2. Senior Cooper Yaccino finished T19 with a total score of 152 (75, 77), while first-year Thomas Chalfant rounded out the Bantam golfers with a total score of 158 (79-79).
Tufts University secured the NESCAC Championship with a team score of 587 and Hamilton College took second place with a score of 593.
