Box Score HARTFORD, Conn. - Saturday morning the Trinity College Women's Tennis team defeated the visiting Bates College Bobcats for a regular season NESCAC meeting. The Bantams move to 4-5 (1-2 NESCAC) with the "W" while the Bobcats fall to 3-8 (1-4 NESCAC).
Bantams tennis entered singles matches 2-1 after doubles victories from #2 Allie Francis and Angelina Shyltsyna (8-5, W) and #3 Elise Brennan and Kennedy White (8-4, W). Within Singles play Trinity was unstoppable, Shyltsyna and Hellena Trojer downed the first two Bobcat opponents. Holding a lead of 4-2, Ella Baker clinched the conference win for the Bantams with a 6-4 back-to-back sweep.
