BOWDOIN, Maine – The Trinity College Women's Golf team finished 9th at the Polar Bear Shootout hosted by Bowdoin College, to kick off their fall season. First year Mia Lombardi finished within the top 30 golfers in her collegiate debut, finishing with a total of 159 (+13).

Williams College won the title with a team score of -2, while Maryanne Grace led individually with a top score of 141 (-5) over the weekend.  

Trinity posted a team score of 341 (+42) after the first round of the invitational, tying for 9th place with Suffolk University. In the Sunday round, the Bantams shot 324 (+33), holding steady in 9th place.

Trinity will compete at the Hartford Hawk Gillette Ridge Invitational in Bloomfield, Conn., at Gillette Golf Club. The two-day event will start at 1 PM on Saturday, September 21st.
