DARTMOUTH, Ma. — The Trinity College Men's Cross Country team competed at the UMass Dartmouth Invitational at the Robert Dowd Cross Country Course in Dartmouth, Mass., on Saturday, September 21.
The Bantams finished 24th out of 44 teams in the annual event, with Larson Sippel leading the way. He completed the 8k course in 26:58.54, placing fourth among NESCAC competitors.
Sophomore T.J. Sparno finished just a couple of steps behind Sippel, clocking in at 27:13.81 to take second place for the Bantams. He was closely followed by Jack Blanchfield (27:30.21), Brendan Burm (27:36.76), Dolan Pols (27:37.45), and Alex Willard (27:37.62), all finishing within seconds of one another.
The Bantams will compete next at the Lehigh University Paul Short Invitational on Saturday, October 5, with a scheduled start time of 10 AM.
