In doubles play, the pairing of senior
Ella Baker and junior
Allie Francis fell to Jade Finestone and Michaela Landry of Colby College, 8-2. The duo of first-years
Julia Clark and
Kendall Cedar lost to Rachel Cranley and Stephanie Woodbury of Tufts, 8-0.

In the singles A draw, Baker fell to Chaniel Soffer of Babson, 7-5, Ret., while Francis lost to Nancy Zhang of Brandeis, 7-5, 6-0.

In singles B play, Cedar and sophomore Naisha Rahti advanced to the Round of 32. Cedar defeated Evin Cosar of Connecticut College, 8-3, and then fell to seventh-seeded Bella Suk of Colby, 8-5. Rahti downed Lili Goshgarian of Smith College, 8-6, and then lost to three-seed Evelina Anastasi of Tufts, 8-2. Sophomore
Hellena Trojer lost to Shyla Khattar of Babson, 8-3, and Clark fell to Ellie Stark of Williams, 8-4. First-year
Brennan Damond lost to Anna Rende of Colby, 8-0, and sophomore
Phebe Fisher was downed by Cecilia Denis of Brandeis, 8-2.

The Bantams will be back on the court for their final fall tune-up when they travel to Middlebury, Vermont for the Middlebury Panther Challenge from October 11-13.
