Bantams Shell Claims First in the Women's Open 8+

SHELTON, Conn. — The Trinity College women's rowing team turned in an impressive performance on Saturday afternoon at the Head of the Housatonic Regatta, competing against a strong regional field in multiple events.

What Happened:

  • The Bantams entered four shells in the Women's Open 8+ event and dominated the leaderboard. Eliza Terrell's crew captured first place with a time of 14:49.108, followed by Riley Reynolds' boat in second (15:28.986), Ryley Disner'sin fourth (16:18.664), and Faith Anderson's in seventh (16:42.350).
  • Trinity also fielded two entries in the Women's Open 4+ event, where Ansley Steele's crew placed sixth (17:32.691) and Flora Gurdon's finished 11th (18:18.390).
