Men's Golf Claims Third Straight Ekwanok Sap Bucket Challenge

MIDDLEBURY, Vt. – For the third straight season, the Trinity College Men's Golf team won the Ekwanok Sap Bucket Challenge, hosted by Middlebury College, at Ekwanok Country Club Tuesday afternoon.
 
What Happened:
  • The Bantams claimed their third consecutive Sap Bucket Challenge title after firing a team score of 443, besting Williams College by one stroke.
  • Thomas Chalfant paced Trinity with a team-low 71 to finish second overall, one shot from the top of the leaderboard.
  • Charlie Mullin carded a 73 to take a share of fifth overall, while Mason Bowie and Julian Ragosa each grabbed a share of seventh with a 74.
  • Spencer Korona placed 11th with a 75, followed by Brian Campbell at 15th with a 76.
  • Joey Hoffman and Peter Sanger each posted a 79 to take a share of 22nd overall.
  • Trailing Trinity and Williams was Middlebury in third with a 451, followed by Hamilton with a 472.
  • Charlie Schulman of Middlebury College was the individual medalist with a 70.
 
Up Next:
  • The Bantams have wrapped up play for the Fall season and will return to the course for the Spring season in March.
