Women's Golf Third at Battle of Bulls Bridge

SOUTH KENT, Conn. – The Trinity College Women's Golf team finished third overall at the Battle at Bulls Bridge, hosted by the University of Hartford, at Bulls Bridge Golf Club Tuesday afternoon.
 
What Happened:
  • The Bantams carded a team score of 334 over 18 holes of action.
  • Meg Lavinder led the Bantams with a team-low 80, including a pair of birdies, to finish fourth overall.
  • Malisha Van posted her best round of the season, shooting an 83 to take a share of fifth, while Himena Yamane was two strokes back at 11th with an 85.
  • CC Kaplan grabbed a share of 12th with an 86, registering a team-high three birdies, and Selam Olson finished tied at 21st with a 93, including one birdie.
  • Kira Kilgore competed as an individual, taking 24th overall with a 97.
  • Lavel University won the event with a tournament-low 318, followed by Adelphi (323), Trinity, Assumption (367), Hartford (373) and Roger Williams (497).
  • Fillippa Schulze-Doering was the individual medalist, firing a tournament-low 73, finishing one stroke over par.
 
Up Next:
  • The Bantams have wrapped up play for their 2025 Fall season, and will return to the course for the Spring semester.
