Women's Squash Dominate Williams, 9-0 in Season Opener

HARTFORD, CONN. – The No. 5 Trinity College women's squash team opened its 2025–26 campaign in dominant fashion, sweeping Williams College 9–0 in New England Small College Athletic Conference action on Saturday afternoon. The Bantams start the season 1–0 overall and in the league, while the Ephs fall to 0–1.

How It Happened

  • Trinity controlled the match from top to bottom, earning a clean sweep across all nine positions. Every Bantam recorded a 3–0 victory on the day.
  • Five first-years made their collegiate debuts in the top eight spots of the ladder: Thanusaa Uthrian (No. 1), Doyce Lee (No. 2), Malak Aly (No. 3), Milena Velychko (No. 7), and Zaina Zaidi (No. 8)—each securing their first collegiate win.
  • Among the returners, senior Elisenda Ruiz-Kaiser earned a decisive win at No. 4, sophomore Kitsy Fox dominated at No. 5, senior Zaynab Khan claimed victory at No. 6, and junior Princess Davenport posted a 3–0 sweep at No. 9.
