WXC Finishes 10th at NESCAC Championship, Jaenicke Placed 29th Overall

WATERFORD, Conn. — The Trinity College women's cross country team placed 10th at the 2025 New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) Championships at Harkness Memorial State Park on Saturday afternoon.

What Happened:

  • The Bantams placed 10th in an 11-team field at the NESCAC Championship, posting a total time of 1:56:10.50with an average time of 23:14.10.

  • Paige Jaenicke led Trinity with a time of 22:17.2 to finish 29th overall.

  • Senior Maggie Furer placed 52nd overall with a time of 22:55.9, followed by Paige Orr (23:05.2) at 61st, Ava Del Vescovo (23:41.2) at 89th and Piper Morris (24:11) at 105th.

  • Lauren Hunt grazed the top 120 with a 117th placing at 24:26.8, trail by Zoe Maggioni (24:38), Rio Gladchun (25:07.3), Kerry Gannon (26:37.5), and Daniela Gomez Anez (27:12.1).

Up Next:

  • The Bantams will return to action for their final team event of the season when they travel to Canton, New York, to compete in the NCAA Division III Mideast Regional Championships on Saturday, November 15.
