SPRINGFIELD, Mass. — The Trinity College men's wrestling team turned in a strong performance at the Doug Parker Invitational on Saturday, placing fifth among thirteen teams at the event hosted by Springfield College.
The Bantams produced seven placewinners on the day, led by junior Alex Schaeublin (3rd), first-year Maverick Heimbuck (3rd/4th), first-year Nicky Ebrahimi (4th), first-year Jacob Kennedy (6th), senior Matty Carrozza (5th/6th), sophomore Ty Trickle (5th/6th), and junior John Lagana (4th).
Heimbuck also earned special recognition, taking home the tournament award for most pins in the least amount of time.
