Bantams Tally 25 Top Five Finishes at Jayden Szkirka Memorial Cup

MIDDLETOWN, CONN.– The Trinity College women's and men's swimming and diving teams finished the weekend strong at the Jayden Szkirka Memorial Cup hosted by Wesleyan University tallying 22 personal best times, 102 season bests, 25 top 5 finishes and 4 new Trinity College Swimming and Diving top 10 marks.

Women's Highlights

  • 200 Free Relay: Cooper, Kastner, Cameron, Delehanty, 1:39.12 4th place.

  • 400 Medley Relay: Kim, Murphree, Kastner, Delehanty, 3:55.28 3rd place.

  • 400 IM: Kathryn Unverzagt, 4:42.54 4th place

  • 100 Back: Rachel Kim, 58.99 3rd place

  • 200 Back: Kathryn Unverzagt, 2:09.42 5th place

  • 200 Breast: Charlotte Murphree, 2:21.37 2nd place

  • 200 Medley Relay: Kim, Murphree, Kastner, Delehanty, 1:46.40 2nd Place

  • 1 Meter Diving: Emma Conard scored 201.30, 4th place

  • 1 Meter Diving: Cass Cronin scored 184.95, 5th place

  • 3 Meter Diving: Cass Cronin scored 177.35, 4th place

  • 3 Meter Diving: Emma Conard scored 145.10, 5th place

  • 400 IM: Ryan Kam 4:19.74, 5th place

  • 200 Medley Relay: Kam, Plourde, Tosic, Broxson 1:37.28, 5th Place

  • 400 Free Relay: Cadogan, Tosic, Solana, Broxson 3:13.58, 4th place

  • 1 Meter Diving: Owen Schmidt scored 215.95, 2nd place

"I am really proud of our team and how they showed up this weekend! We don't really rest for this weekend so for us to have personal bests and season bests is a great sign. It was a long two days and this group kept a positive mindset throughout the whole weekend. We are really excited to keep at it and see what 2026 has in store for us!"

Next Up

The Bantams return to action in the new year when they host Vassar College and Mount Holyoke in the Trinity Natatorium on Tuesday, January 13th at 1PM.
