SPRINGFIELD, Mass. – The Trinity College Swimming and Diving team traveled to Springfield College on Saturday afternoon to compete in a non-conference meet against the Pride. The Bantams men's team fell to Springfield, 75-166, while the women's team narrowly lost 109-114.

"The team has been putting in so much work throughout the season, and this meet gave us the opportunity to race some off events and see what they could do without worrying about times. They are ready to rest and start gearing up for NESCACs in a few weeks!" – Coach Hannah Hagy

• Maeve Delehanty claimed her first collegiate victory in the 50 free with a time of 25.80.

• Hannah Cerny earned her first college win in the 200 IM, finishing in 2:20.77.

• Matthew Brown took first in the 200 IM with a time of 1:57.82.

• Charlotte Murphree won the 100 breast in 1:05.40.

• Niamh Kastner triumphed in the 100 fly with a time of 1:00.43.

• Isabelle Tagliaferro won the 100 free in 56.17.

• The women's A 800 free relay team of Rachel Lundy, Iris Huerta, Niamh Kastner, and Isabelle Tagliaferro won with a time of 8:14.02.

• The women's A 400 medley relay (Rachel Kim, Charlotte Murphree, Niamh Kastner, Isabelle Tagliaferro) finished first in 4:01.30.

• The women's B 400 medley relay (Hannah Flis, Alex Snyder, Iris Huerta, Ella Cooper) placed third.

Trinity will compete in the New England Small College Athletic Conference Championships beginning Thursday, February 20th hosted by Middlebury College in Middlebury, VT.
