HARTFORD, Conn. – The Trinity College Women's Tennis team hosted Colby College for a conference match on Saturday afternoon, falling 6-1.

The Mules took control early, winning all three doubles matches to claim a 1-0 lead heading into singles play.

In singles action, Bantams Allie Francis and Kendall Cedar both found themselves in tiebreakers in the first sets of their matches but were ultimately defeated, 7-6(1).

Trinity's lone point came from Ella Baker, who delivered a gritty performance in her match. After splitting the first two sets, Baker secured a tiebreaker victory in the third, winning 6-3, 4-6, 6-4.
