Women's Golf 10th at Jack Leaman Invitational

SOUTH HADLEY, Mass. – The Trinity College Women's Golf team placed tenth overall at the Jack Leaman Invitational, hosted by Amherst College, at the Orchards Golf Club Sunday afternoon. Saturday's opening round was canceled due to weather, resulting in a single round of competition.
 
Trinity posted a team score of 345 in the lone round of competition. Meg Lavinder led the Bantams with a team-low 77, paced by a trio of birdies. Mia Lombardi grabbed a share of 35th notching three birdies en route to an 83. Selam Olson was four strokes back in 53rd with an 87, and Catherine Wallace rounded out the Bantam golfers with a 98 to finish 64th.
 
New York University won the event with a team score of 296, followed by the host Mammoths (306), Williams (309), Wellesley (311) and Wesleyan (321) to complete the Top 5 of the team leaderboard. Nalinda Wanikpun was the individual medalist with a score of 70.
 
The Bantams will be back on the course when they travel to the Williams College Spring Invitational at Taconic Country Club from April 19-20.
