HARTFORD, Conn. – The No. 62 Trinity College women's tennis team dropped a non-conference match to No. 36 Brandeis University, 6–1, on Wednesday evening at the Trinity Memorial Field House. With the loss, the Bantams move to 5–9 overall, while the Judges improve to 8–6.
Trinity's lone point came courtesy of senior Ella Baker, who delivered a hard-fought win at the No. 1 singles position. Baker claimed the opening set 6–4, battled through a second-set tiebreaker (6-7(4)), and emerged victorious in the decisive third set, 7–5.
