Trinity Women’s Tennis Drops 5–2 Decision to Connecticut College

HARTFORD, Conn. – The Trinity College women's tennis team suffered a 5-2 defeat against Connecticut College in a New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) matchup Sunday afternoon at Memorial Field House. With the loss, the Bantams fall to 5-6 overall and 0-5 in conference play, while the Camels improve to 5-6, earning their first NESCAC victory (1-3).

Trinity registered the opening match point in doubles with victories from the duo's of Ella Baker and Allie Francis (7-5) and Elise Brennan and Julia Clark (6-4).

In singles the Bantams lone point came from Allie Francis in the #2 spot with a 6-4, 6-3 two set victory over Camels Evin Cosar.

The Bantams will look to get their first mark in conference action over the weekend as they match up against Tufts University on Friday, April 11th at 1PM in Medford, MA., followed by Bates College on Saturday, April 12th at 10AM in Lewiston, ME.
