HARTFORD, Conn. - (May 13th, 2025) - Two Trinity College members have earned spots on the 2025 Academic All-District® Men's Tennis Team, selected by College Sports Communicators. The award recognizes the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the court and in the classroom.
The Bantams receiving the honor were seniors Brendan Felcher and Pierce Rutledge To be nominated, a student-athlete must be an All-Conference caliber player with at least a 3.50 cumulative grade point average (on a 4.0 scale). Eligible nominees need to be in the lineup for 70% of the total matches played by the team that includes team scores.
The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA. Academic All-District® honorees advance to the CSC Academic All-America® ballot. First-, second and third-team Academic All-America® honorees will be announced Wednesday, June 5th.
