BRUNSWICK, Maine – The Trinity College Softball team split a pair of games in a New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) doubleheader at Pickard Field Saturday afternoon. The Bantams wrap the 2025 campaign with a 11-23 record and a 4-14 mark in the NESCAC.

Game 1: Bowdoin 7, Trinity 6
The Polar Bears logged a run in each of the first three innings on RBI hits from Garcia, Sullivan and Siciliano. Trinity plated their first run of the contest on an RBI single form
Hannah Mullaney to narrow the gap to 3-1. Bowdoin extended the lead with two runs in the fourth and another in the fifth to propel ahead 6-1.

The Bantams rallied in the sixth as
Mikayla O'Brien brought home a run on a bases loaded squeeze bunt, followed by an RBI single from
Emily Goddard to set the score at 6-3. Trinity evened the score as Bella Calagna cleared the bases with a three-run double to right center field. Bowdoin grabbed the walk-off 7-6 victory with a solo home run from S. Lang.

Game 2: Trinity 8, Bowdoin 7
The Bantams scored first as
Taylor Mikolajczak raced home on a passed ball to stake Trinity to a 1-0 lead. Bowdoin responded with seven runs over the next two innings to build a 7-1 lead. The Bantams began to rally in the top of the fifth as Calagna ripped an RBI double, followed by an RBI triple from Mikolajczak and an RBI single from
Abigail Alper to trim the gap to 7-4.

In the sixth, Calagna maintained a hot bat, knocking a two-run double to the right-center gap to make it a one-run game, 7-6. Mikolajczak brought home Calagna with an RBI double down the left field line to knot the game at 7-7. The game went to extra innings where
Kennedy Rogers delivered an RBI double in the top of the ninth to send Trinity to the 8-7 win.

Zofia Sargent (8-12) claimed the win in relief, tossing 7.1 innings of two-hit ball. Mikolajczak went 4-for-5 with two extra-base hits, two RBIs, two runs scored and a stolen bases, while Calagna went 2-for-4 with three RBIs and two runs scored, and
Makenna True added three hits.
