HARTFORD, Conn. (May 27, 2025) — Five members of the Trinity College softball team have been named to the 2025 Academic All-District® Team, as selected by College Sports Communicators (CSC). The award honors the nation's top student-athletes for their combined excellence in athletic performance and academic achievement.
The Bantams earning Academic All-District recognition are graduate student Kennedy Rogers, senior infielder Taylor Mikolajczak, and sophomores Makenna True (catcher), Zofia Sargent (pitcher), and Emily Goddard (infielder).
To be eligible for nomination, student-athletes must demonstrate All-Conference caliber performance and maintain a cumulative GPA of at least 3.50 on a 4.0 scale. Nominees must participate in at least 90 percent of their team's games or start in a minimum of 66 percent. For pitchers in baseball and softball, the criteria include at least 17 appearances or 25 innings pitched.
Mikolajczak has advanced to the national ballot with an opportunity to earn CSC Academic All-America® honors. The senior shortstop is making her third consecutive appearance on the Academic All-District® Team.
The CSC Academic All-America® program honors student-athletes across four divisions: NCAA Division I, Division II, Division III, and NAIA. Academic All-District® honorees advance to the national ballot, with first-, second-, and third-team Academic All-America® recipients to be announced on Tuesday, June 17.
