Women’s Cross Country Finishes Fourth at Purple Valley Invite

HARTFORD, Conn. – The Trinity College women's cross country team competed in the Williams College Purple Valley Invitational on Saturday morning, placing fourth in the team standings.

What Happened:
Junior Paige Jaenicke led the Bantams with a 10th-place overall finish in a time of 22:51.2. Senior Maggie Furer (23:49.7), juniors Ava Del Vescovo (24:54.5) and Zoe Maggioni (24:57.3), along with first-year Mei-Ling Bielagus (24:58.7), all finished inside the top 50.

Sophomore Piper Morris (25:26.0) and first-year Daniela Gomez Anez (25:55.9) rounded out Trinity's top seven finishers.

Up Next:
The Bantams return to action on Friday, October 3, traveling to Bethlehem, Pa. for the Paul Short Run hosted by Lehigh University at 12:15 p.m.
