MIDDLEBURY, Vt. – The Trinity College Women's Golf team placed ninth overall at the 2025 George Phinney Classic, hosted by Middlebury College, at Ralph Myhre Golf Course over the weekend. The Bantams registered a team score of 706 over 36 holes of action.

What Happened:
- The Bantams fired a 351 in the opening round of play, followed by a 355 in the final round.
- First-year CC Kaplan and junior Mali Van paced the Bantams with a 172, both shooting matching 88-84 over the two rounds to finish tied at 42nd overall.
- Kaplan logged a team-high three birdies, while Van added two birdies.
- Sophomore Mia Lombardi shot a 176 (87-89) with a birdie.
- Sophomore Selam Olson finished 57th with a 186 (88-98), and junior Koto Freeman took 62nd with a 193 (95-98).
- Amherst College won the event with a team score of 622, followed by Williams (629), Hamilton (637), Wellesley (639), and Middlebury (640) to compose the Top 5 of the team leaderboard.
- Emma Lindemoen of Amherst was the individual medalist with a score of 151, including the lowest round score of 74 during the final round.
