Ryan Kam Named NESCAC Men's Swimming Performer of the Week

HADLEY, Mass. – Trinity College Men's Swimming first-year Ryan Kam claimed New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) Men's Swimming & Diving Performer of the Week, announced by the conference office Tuesday. Kam is the first Bantam to earn Performer of the Week honors since Sam McStocker during the 2017-18 season.
 
Kam led the Bantams to a pair of wins over Vassar and Wesleyan. The sophomore posted first-place finishes in every event he swam and recorded three lifetime bests. Against Vassar, Kam helped the Bantams win the 200 medley relay, splitting a lifetime best of 25.40 on the backstroke leg. Kam also won the 200 backstroke (1:58.68) and 200 butterfly (2:00.23) with lifetime best times. Against Wesleyan, Kam won the 400 IM (4:17.06) and the 50 butterfly with a lifetime best time of 24.92.
 
Kam and the Bantams will be back in the pool when they host Coast Guard at Trinity College Natatorium on Saturday, January 24 at 12:00 p.m.
