Women's Track and Field Grabs Pair of Wins at Massasoit Classic

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. – The Trinity College Women's Track and Field team posted two first-place finishes, along with eight top-five finishes, at the Massasoit Classic, hosted by Springfield College, over the weekend.
 
What Happened:
  • The 4x400 meter relay team of Haley Bilodeau, Paige Orr, Olivia Carney and Jenna Najjar placed first overall with a time of 4:06.21.
  • Caitlin Lennox took a share of first-place in the pole vault with a height of 2.60 meters.
  • Carney took second in the 60 meter dash (7.91), while Bilodeau finished second in the 60 meter hurdles (9.36) and third in the 200 meter run (26.90).
  • Hope Jackson was fourth in the 60 meter dash (8.09), Najjar took fourth in the 400 meter dash (1:02.36), and Elizabeth Forestiere grabbed fourth in the 600 meter run (1:44.31)
  • Brooke Scott placed fifth in the 60 meter dash (8.16), and Gabrieanne Chery was fifth in the high jump at 1.48 meters.
  • Phoebe Kinnell finished seventh in the 60m hurdles (9.75), Orr took seventh in the 400 meter dash (1:04.86), and Nora Butterly was ninth in the 800 meter run (2:40.87)

  • The Bantams will be back in action when they travel to Boston University for the John Terrier Classic on January 30 & 31.
