NORTHAMPTON, Mass. – The Trinity Women's Tennis team wrapped their fall season at the 2026 New England Women's Intercollegiate Tennis Tournament (NEWITT), hosted by Smith College, over the weekend.
 
What Happened:

• The pairing of Naisha Rathi and Emilia Romano reached the B Draw semifinals after defeating Skidmore, 2-1, before claiming a defeat victory over Amherst. Rathi and Romano fell to Wellesley in the semis, 3-0.
• The duo of Hellena Trojer and Katherine Johnson made the quarterfinals with a 3-0 victory over Smith, and then suffered a 3-0 loss to Wellesley.
• Ava Terefe and Avery Morris fell to Williams in the first round, 3-0, but advanced to the consolation semifinals with a 2-1 win over Springfield.
• In the C Draw quarterfinals, Jahnavi Vaghasia and Phebe Fisher fell to Emerson, 3-0
