BOSTON, Mass. – The Trinity College women's rowing team returned to the Charles River Sunday afternoon to compete in the prestigious Head of the Charles Regatta (HOCR). The Bantams delivered a pair of strong performances, highlighted by a fifth-place finish in the Women's Collegiate Fours and a sixth-place finish in their second event.

What Happened:
Women's Collegiate Fours

• Trinity's 'A' boat, led by junior coxswain Lou Szal, secured a fifth-place finish with a time of 18:57.503, finishing among the top five behind William Smith, Chicago, Williams College, and Amherst College.
• The Bantams maintained their fifth-place standing throughout the race, recording splits of 4:24.833 at Riverside, 10:23.760 at Weld, and 15:41.307 at CBC.
• Trinity finished just 2.726 seconds behind fourth-place Amherst College (18:54.777), while besting the University of Guelph (19:01.649) by 4.146 seconds.
• The Bantams' 'B' boat, led by sophomore coxswain Rachel Spitzer, finished 24th overall with a time of 20:01.863. Trinity recorded splits of 4:43.983 at Riverside, 11:04.019 at Weld, and 16:36.579 at CBC.

Women's Collegiate Eights

• Trinity's 'A' boat, led by senior coxswain Riley Reynolds, claimed sixth place with a time of 16:55.677, finishing just 0.839 seconds behind fifth-place Bates College (16:54.838).
• The Bantams maintained their sixth-place position throughout the race, recording splits of 3:50.789 at Riverside, 9:19.757 at Weld, and 14:03.362 at CBC.
• Trinity finished 4.127 seconds ahead of seventh-place Wesleyan University (16:59.804), while trailing race winner Tufts University (16:26.462) by 29.215 seconds.
• The Bantams' 'B' boat, led by first-year coxswain Siena Tarzia, placed 25th overall with a time of 18:17.055.
• Trinity's 'C' boat, led by senior coxswain Ryley Disner, rounded out the Bantams' performances in 29th place, recording a raw time of 18:26.342. Following a one-minute penalty, the boat's official finishing time was 19:26.342.
