HARTFORD, Conn. – The Trinity College Women's Rowing crew loaded the docks Sunday Morning on the Connecticut River as the Bantams competed in the Head of the Riverfront to open the 2026 season.
Women's Open 8+
- Trinity entered four boats in the Women's Open 8+, led by its top shell with a 10th-place finish in the 27-boat field.
- Trinity's top boat crossed the finish line in 15:22.167, finishing 48.375 seconds behind the winning Rhode Island crew.
- The Bantams' second shell finished 17th overall, clocking a time of 15:52.100.
- Trinity's third boat followed in 19th place with a time of 15:59.313, just 7.213 seconds behind the Bantams' second finisher.
- Trinity's fourth shell rounded out the Bantams' entries in 26th place, crossing in 16:30.696.
Women's Open 4+
- Trinity's top shell, stroked by R. Reynolds, earned a second-place finish in the Women's Open 4+, crossing in 16:34.758.
- The Bantams finished just 2.194 seconds behind first-place Williams College, which posted a winning time of 16:32.564.
- Trinity's M. Theis shell finished 24th overall with a time of 18:14.682.
- The L. Szal boat rounded out Trinity's entries in 29th place, clocking 20:35.533.
- Trinity's runner-up shell finished ahead of crews from Holy Cross, Sacred Heart, UConn, UAlbany, Bowdoin, Amherst and New York Athletic Club
Women's Open Novice 8+
- Trinity captured first place in the Women's Open Novice 8+, posting a winning time of 16:53.861.
- The Bantams edged UAlbany by just 1.729 seconds, with the Great Danes finishing in 16:55.590.
- Trinity topped the four-boat field, which also featured two crews from Bowdoin.
