HANOVER, N.H. – The No. 1 Trinity College men's squash team delivered a dominant 9–0 sweep over host No. 9 Dartmouth College Sunday afternoon at the Berry Squash Courts. With the victory, the Bantams improve to 9–0 on the season, while the Big Green fall to 5–5.
How It Happened
Trinity cruised to seven straight-set victories, as Joachim Chuah, Muhammad Ashab Irfan, Benedek Takacs, Segundo Portabales, Eyad Awad, Javier Emilio Romo Lopez, and Andrik Lim all earned 3–0 wins.
At the No. 4 position, sophomore Huzaifa Ibrahim dropped the third game after winning the first two, but responded with a strong fourth game to secure a 3–1 victory. In the No. 6 spot, Daniel Simon also battled through four games. After winning a tightly contested 12–10 opening game and dropping the second, Simon rebounded to close out the match in four.
