HANOVER, N.H. – The No. 5 Trinity College women's squash team earned an 8–1 victory over No. 12 Dartmouth College Sunday afternoon at the Berry Squash Courts. With the win, the Bantams improve to 6–4 on the season, while the Big Green fall to 4–6.
How It Happened
Trinity claimed six matches in straight sets, as Kara Lincou, Doyce Ye San Lee, Varvara Esina, Fabiola Cabello, Elisenda Ruiz-Kaiser, and Zaynab Khan all posted dominant 3–0 victories.
At the top of the ladder, Thanusaa Uthrian (No. 1) and Hannah Chukwu (No. 2) each dropped the second game of their matches but responded with strong play to capture the third and fourth games and secure their wins.
In the No. 7 spot, sophomore Kitsy Fox battled Dartmouth's Callie Worth. Fox opened with an 11–3 first-game win, but Worth responded with a reverse sweep to earn Dartmouth's lone match point.
