HARTFORD, Conn. – The Trinity College Wrestling Squad notched a pair of victories during their Senior Day Quad Match at the Trinity College Memorial Field House Saturday afternoon. The Bantams delivered decisive victories over the University of Bridgeport (51-5) and Hunter College (45-3) before falling to Springfield College (42-3).
 
What Happened:

• Prior to the matches, the Bantams honored their departing Class of 2026: Matthew Carrozza and Chase Ledbury.
• Against Bridgeport, Alexander Schaeublin (16-0), Carrozza (17-1)and Ty Trickle (16-1) rolled to technical fall victories, while Andrew Pratt (4:31), Durkin Stankevich (4:18), Will Meeker (0:51)  and Nicholas Ebrahimi (2:50) all won by pinfall.
• Against Hunter, Schaeublin (3:58), Ledbury (4:57), Liam Holden (3:45) collected pinfall victories, along with decision wins from Pratt (8-6), Vician (7-1) and Emre Sensoy (10-4). Carrozza, Trickle and Hutton took home forfeit wins.
• Against Springfield, Pratt notched the lone win for the Bantams with a decision victory (5-1) at 149.

 
Up Next:

• The Bantams will be back on the mat when they travel to the University of Southern Maine for a quad match against Western New England, Plymouth State and the host Huskies on February 7 beginning at Noon.
