CLINTON, N.Y. – Different year, same royalty.

The No. 6 women of Trinity College ruled the court once again, capturing their 19th straight New England Small College Athletic Conference Championship with a jaw-dropping 26–1 march through the weekend.

The Bantams opened by sweeping No. 8 Wesleyan University, 9–0, in Saturday's quarterfinals. Sunday afternoon brought a strong test, but Trinity powered past No. 4 Middlebury College, 8–1, to punch its ticket to the final. Waiting under the lights was No. 3 Tufts University, and the Bantams left no doubt, claiming the crown with another 8–1 statement.
