Top-Ranked Bantams Roll Past No. 7 Columbia

NEW YORK, N.Y. – The No. 1 Trinity College men's squash team pecked its way to an 8–1 victory over host No. 7 Columbia University Sunday afternoon at SL Green StreetSquash. With the win, the Bantams improve to 10–0 on the season, while the Lions fall to 5–5.

How It Happened

Trinity's Joachim Chuah (No. 1), Wa-Sern Low (No. 4), Segundo Portabales (No. 6), Eyad Awad (No. 8), and Daniel Simon (No. 9) delivered straight-set sweeps over their Lions opponents.

Muhammad Ashab Irfan (No. 2), Benedek Takacs (No. 3), and Huzaifa Ibrahim (No. 5) claimed 3–1 victories after well-fought four-set matches. Dmytro Shcherbakov took the second set from Columbia's Varun Fuloria, 14–12, but dropped the third and fourth to surrender the match.
