CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa – Trinity College sophomore Ty Trickle (Phoenix, Ariz.) collect one victory, but nearly grabbed three wins, during run in the 141-pound bracket at the 2026 NCAA Division III Wrestling National Championship at Alliant Energy PowerHouse Friday and Saturday.
 
What Happened:

• On Friday, Trickle was edged in overtime, 8-5, by sudden victory in the opening match against Cole Becker of Augsburg,
• Trickle rebounded to collect a 7-2 decision victory over Kaden Ware of Penn Tech. Trickle's run was to a close as he was narrowly defeated by decision, 8-6, against Joshua Robinson of North Central.
• Trickle wraps his season with a 23-10 record, matching the program record for tenth most wins in a season.
