Bantams Peck Their Way to a 7-0 Win Over Scarlet Hawks

ORLANDO, Fla. – The Trinity College Women's Tennis team posted a commanding 7–0 victory over the Illinois Institute of Technology to begin its spring break campaign in Orlando, Fla.

The Bantams' second match of the day against the University of Wisconsin–La Crosse was canceled due to severe weather.

How It Happened

The Bantams secured the opening point of the match after taking two of the three doubles contests. The pairs of Julia Clark and Elise Brennan, along with Phebe Fisher and Jahnavi Vaghasia, delivered dominant performances on their respective courts with 6–0 and 6–1 victories.

In singles play, all six Trinity representatives earned straight-set wins, with no matches extending to a third set or requiring a tiebreaker.
