2026 NESCAC Winter All-Academic Announced

HADLEY, Mass. – Over 1,500 student-athletes have been named to the 2026 NESCAC Winter All-Academic Team. To be honored, an individual must have reached sophomore academic standing, and be in good standing in their sport with a cumulative grade point average of at least 3.50 or equivalent on a 4.0 scale. Transfers must have completed one year of study at an institution. Lists of All-Academic honorees are provided by the athletic departments at each institution. The cumulative GPA on record as of the end of the Fall 2025 semester was used to determine eligibility for the honor

Of the student-athletes to garner NESCAC All-Academic honors this winter, 111 earned both All-Academic and All-NESCAC accolades and 56 individuals were named to both the All-Sportsmanship and All-Academic Teams. 

The honored athletes represent a wide range of teams, including:

  • Men's Basketball – 4 honorees
  • Women's Basketball – 5 honorees
  • Men's Ice Hockey – 15 honorees
  • Women's Ice Hockey – 11 honorees
  • Men's Indoor Track & Field – 5 honorees
  • Women's Indoor Track & Field – 12 honorees
  • Men's Swimming and Diving – 5 honorees
  • Women's Swimming and Diving – 9 honorees
  • Women's Squash – 6 honorees
  • Wrestling – 5 honorees

Senior Spencer Korona (Men's Ice Hockey) was one of six student-athletes to earn All-NESCAC honors while also being named to both the All-Sportsmanship and All-Academic Teams.

Among the All-Academic honorees, Trinity's Kara Lincou was recognized as the Women's Squash Player of the Year.
