Bantams topped in NESCAC Matches

HARTFORD, CT – Bantams Men's tennis closed a New England Small College Athletic Conference weekend competing against top nationally ranked no.18 Middlebury College followed by No. 16 Williams College. 

Saturday morning the Bantams hosted the Panthers where they fell 6-1. In doubles, the pair of Luca Garbati and Maxim Golubenko bested Wijemanne/Kondamuri 6-4 for the final. In singles the lone match point came from senior John Pope after he claimed the opening set, 6-2, Noah Lewis was able to level the match 1-1 with a 6-3 win. In a third set tiebreaker Pope secured the win with a 10-6 dominant win. 

Trinity traveled to the no. 16 Williams College Sunday morning where they surrendered a 7-0 loss to the Ephs.
