Trinity's 2V8 Takes the Win at the Little Three Championship

PITTSFIELD, Mass. — No. 1 Trinity College women's rowing claimed a victory in the second Varsity Eight and turned in strong performances across the board at the Little Three Championship—featuring Williams, Wesleyan, and Trinity—hosted by Williams on Onota Lake.

What Happened

Varsity 8

  • Trinity's Varsity Eight placed second in a tightly contested race. Williams took first in 7:17.30, just ahead of the Bantams, who finished in 7:18.71. Wesleyan placed third, more than four seconds behind Trinity.

2nd Varsity 8

  • Trinity captured gold in the second Varsity Eight, posting a time of 7:29.20. The Bantams finished roughly two seconds ahead of Wesleyan (7:31.02) and Williams (7:31.61).

3rd Varsity 8

  • Trinity entered two boats in the third Varsity Eight race, with Trinity A finishing third and Trinity B placing fourth.

  • In the 4+ event, Trinity placed second with a time of 9:22.09. Wesleyan took first, finishing under 20 seconds ahead, while Trinity held a margin of more than 10 seconds over third-place Williams.
