HARTFORD, Conn. – The Trinity College Women's Tennis team dropped two matches over the weekend, falling to Bowdoin College, 7-0, and Colby College, 7-0, in a New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) contests at Paul Assaiante Court and the Trinity College Memorial Fieldhouse.
 
What Happened:

• Against the Polar Bears, Bowdoin pulled ahead 1-0 after doubles action. Naisha Rathi and Emilia Romano fell 6-0 at #1, while Elise Brennan and Brennan Damond suffered a 6-1 defeat at #2. Kendall Cedar and Julia Clark fell 6-1 at the #3 position.
• Allie Francis dropped two sets (6-0, 6-2) in the #1 singles match, while Rathi (6-1, 6-3) and Cedar (6-3, 6-3) took losses at #2 and #3, respectively.
• Brennan and Hellena Trojer fell 6-2, 6-2 at the #4 and #6 spots, while Romano was dealt a 6-1, 6-1 loss at #5.
• Against the Mules, Colby swept doubles action with a 6-0 win at #1 and 6-1 victories at #2 and #3.
• Rathi grabbed a first set victory at #1 singles before dropping the last two frames. Cedar and Brennan suffered two-set losses at #2 and #3 singles.
• Romano, Trojer and Damond all grabbed first set wins at #4, #5 and #6 before falling in the final two sets.
