SPRINGFIELD, Mass. – The Trinity College Men's Track and Field squad recorded 25 top ten finishes at the 2026 Springfield College Classic Saturday afternoon.
 
What Happened:

• Eli Mandese placed second in the long jump with a leap of 6.68m, while Brendan Nolan grabbed second in the 1500 meter run with a time of 4:04.30.
• Zuri Johnson finished second in the 400-meter dash (49.29) and third in the 200-meter dash (21.69), while Noah Falvey logged a second-place finish in the discus throw (44.02m) and tenth in the hammer throw (39.73m).
• Charlie Young took third in the 400-meter dash at 50.48 and ninth in the 200-meter dash (23.00), and Donovan Koukal-Kollie placed third in the triple jump at 14.02 meters.
• In the 1500 meter run, Tyler Johnson finished behind Nolan in third at 4:08.60, followed by Evan Small in seventh (4:12.10) and Andrew Petropulos in eighth (4:12.54).
• Timothy Hamilton took third in the 3000-meter steeplechase with a time of 9:58.00, while Mark Kanner placed sixth at 10:45.81.
• Jordan Meirowitz finished fourth in the javelin with a toss of 48.67 meters, Arinze Okigbo placed fifth in the 100-meter dash (10.82), and James Lyon grabbed sixth in the 400-meter dash (51.30).
• Davis Wheat was sixth in the pole vault (3.40m) and ninth in the long jump (6.35m), while Andrew Williams took sixth in the hammer throw (43.30m) and ninth in the discus (38.84m).
• Pete Passaro finished seventh in the shot put (13.12m), Liam Kelly was eighth in the 200-meter dash (22.38), and Benjamin Macharia took tenth in the 400-meter dash (52.29).
• The 4x400 meter relay squad of Ryan Martin, Wheat, Aaron Roberts, and Luke Weiler finished fifth in the event with a time of 3:39.92.
