Men’s Rowing Earns Automatic Qualifier for IRA Championship

HARTFORD, Conn. – The Trinity College men's rowing team will travel to Lake Natoma in Gold River/Rancho Cordova, California to compete in the 123rd Intercollegiate Rowing Association National Championships.

The Bantams enter the championship field for the sixth consecutive season, eager to reclaim the crown after capturing the 2025 IRA National Championship title. This season has featured another string of gritty performances from the squad, highlighted by victories at the Knecht Cup, Remley Cup, and New England Rowing Championships, along with a runner-up finish at the New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) Championship.

Trinity's Second Varsity, Third Varsity, and Fourth Varsity crews have also posted strong results throughout the season, earning top finishes in their respective races.

  • New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC): Wesleyan University and Trinity College
