BRUNSWICK, ME. - The Trinity College men's golf team finished tied for fourth place following three rounds of competition at the Bowdoin Invitational hosted at Brunswick Golf Club. The Bantams posted a 29-over-par team score, highlighted by a stellar performance from Charlie Mullin, who finished third individually at three-under par.
Trinity opened the tournament at 15-over par before firing a one-over second round, the Bantams' best team round of the weekend. Trinity closed with a 13-over performance to finish tied with Bowdoin at +29.

HOW IT HAPPENED

• Charlie Mullin led the Bantams throughout the weekend, finishing third overall at three-under par. Mullin followed his opening round of one-over with a three-under second round before closing at one-under in the final round. Mullin caught fire down the stretch on Sunday, recording six birdies over his final nine holes.
• Thomas Chalfant finished T-25th at nine-over par. Chalfant opened at +2 before carding rounds of +1 and +6 over the final two rounds.
• Julian Ragosa finished T-40th at 12-over par, improving from a six-over opening round to shoot one-over in the second round before closing at +5.
• Aidan Monahan finished T-56th at 16-over par. Monahan's weekend was highlighted by a strong final-round back nine, where he carded three-under.
• Joey Hoffman rounded out the Bantams' lineup, finishing T-67th at 20-over par.

INSIDE THE NUMBERS

• Trinity finished T-4th at +29, five strokes behind third-place Tufts (+24).
• The Bantams recorded their best team performance in the second round at just one-over par, a 14-stroke improvement from the opening round.
• Mullin was Trinity's top finisher for the weekend, placing third at three-under par.
• Mullin finished just one-under in the final round despite making six birdies on the back nine, including birdies on five of his final six holes.
• Trinity finished ahead of Eastern Connecticut State (+30) and just seven strokes behind second-place Middlebury (+22).
