Two-year starter at DP...as a senior, she had 18 hits, including one double and one homer... registered 7 RBIs...2nd on team in home runs and 3rd in walks (tied) last spring...all-league selection and honorable mention all-regional player in high school...also played basketball in high school...won a science award in high school...earned a scholarship for her work with special needs children...has volunteered at St. Jude's Children's Hospital...interned at the Mowbray Maternity Hospital in Capetown, South Africa...plans to attend medical school...majoring in neuroscience...daughter of Nadine and David Prosperi...grandfather played basketball at Duke.
