Biography

AS A SENIOR IN 2015-16: Co-captain...two-year starter.

AS A JUNIOR IN 2014-15: Missed much of the season with an injury...went 7-1 in dual matches...the only Bantam to go 3-0 in the Howe Cup...finished second at the CSA National Singles Championships in the Holleran "B" Division...earned the team's James Belfiore Award for having overcome adversity and inspiring her teammates.

AS A SOPHOMORE IN 2013-14: 3rd on team in wins...posted a 3-2 victory at Yale to help the Bantams rally back from a 4-1 deficit to defeat the Buldogs, 5-4...went 2-1 in the Howe Cup...NESCAC All-Sportsmanship Team.

AS A FRESHMAN IN 2012-13: Was 3rd on the team in wins and winning percentage...went 3-0 in the 2013 Howe Cup to help the Bantams take 2nd place...recorded one of four Trinity points in the 2013 CSA Finals loss to Harvard...2012-13 team Most Improved Player (Phyllis Mason) award co-winner.

BEFORE TRINITY: Played for a high school team that won two New England titles...finished 4th in the 2008 Asian Junior Championships...has also competed in the British, Scottish, German, and Dutch Open Tournaments.

PERSONAL: Majoring in creative writing and film studies...daughter of Ramila and Irshwin Balvani.
