Biography

AS A JUNIOR IN 2020-21: Named to the 2021 NESCAC Winter All-Academic Team.

AS A SOPHOMORE IN 2019-20: Set a new Trinity record with a time of 5:07.72 in the 500-yard freestyle...swam a leg of Trinity-record breaking relays in the 400-yard medley (3:55.10), the 200-yard freestyle (1:38.35), the 400-yard freestyle (3:31.70), and the 800-yard freestyle (7:45.40)...finished 18th in the 200-yard freestyle and 21st in both the 200-yard butterfly and the 500-yard freestyle at the NESCAC Championship Meet...won the 500-yard freestyle and the 200-yard butterfly against both Hamilton and Wesleyan...won the 50-yard butterfly against St. Joseph (Conn.), the 100-yard butterfly against Brandeis and the 500-yard freestyle in a tri-meet against Mount Holyoke and Vassar...swam Trinity's fifth-fastest, all-time top time in the 200-yard butterfly (2:12.58) and its 10th-fastest, all-time top time in the 50-yard butterfly (27.46)...nominated for a Bartlett Award for her combined athletic excellence and commitment to campus and/or community service...NESCAC All-Academic Team.
 
AS A ROOKIE IN 2018-19:
 Finished 22nd in the 100-yard butterfly at the NESCAC Championship Meet...won the 500-yard freestyle against Clark...swam Trinity's third-fastest all-time top time in the 50-yard freestyle (1:57.44)......swam Trinity's eighth-fastest all-time top time in the 50-yard backstroke (28.91)...swam Trinity's ninth-fastest all-time top time in the 100-yard butterfly (1:00.50).

PERSONAL: Earned faculty honors in fall of 2018 and 2019...leader and trainer for the Quest Outdoor Leadership Program...works on campus as a student admissions associate...Aurelia hopes to pursue her passion for working in the outdoors. Received an award in high school for school spirit...originally from Alaska...enjoys roller skating...would like to pursue her passion for working outdoors after graduation...majoring in anthropology and environmental science...daughter of Therese and Adam Umholtz...mother swam at Georgetown.

WHY I CHOSE TRINITY: I liked the feel of campus and that it was a small liberal arts school in New England.  I also love our mascot.
