Trinity College

AS A SOPHOMORE IN 2022-23: Returning starter.

AS A ROOKIE IN 2021-22: GCAA National All-Freshman Team...GCAA/Ping All-Region Team...All-NESCAC Second Team...finished as the runner-up (tied) with the team's season-low two-round score of 139 at the Williams Fall Classic...won the Bill Detrick Invitational...tied for 3d in the Duke Nelson Invitational, was 8th at the Sap Bucket Challenge, and 9th in the NESCAC Championships.

BEFORE TRINITY: Captain and team MVP for his high school team that won a New England title...won his high shool's invitational title (Coppola Cup) with a round of 74 and finished among the top five in his conference championships in both 2018 and 2019...also starred scholastically in ice hockey.

PERSONAL: Majoring in political science...son of Sharon and Scott Boyd... father and uncles, Matt Steckler and Ryan Boys, all played ice hockey at Union College...cousin, Jack, is this year's Trinity men's golf captain.

WHY I CHOSE TRINITY: I chose Trinity College because of the location and all it has to offer. I fell in love with the school because of the high level of academics. Trinity was on the first schools to recruit me and I felt like there was no better fit. I liked both of the coaches and being able to play on a collegiate golf team with my cousin (Jack Steckler '22) was a dream of mine that I could not forgo.
